I’m serious, from the moment I sunk my teeth into a freshly made lemon pepper bone-in fried chicken wing I was hooked.The instant rush of lemon flavor that fills your mouth, mixed with that salty companion that comes dusted over the top of each succulent wing…along with the hot flavor of the chicken; add to that a pound of freshly made coleslaw and an ice cold beer and now, it’s a party!Wingstop lemon pepper chicken wings are the absolute perfect solution for any occasion as long as you are hungry and desiring a mouthwatering, satisfying chicken wing, these succulent wonders are always going to be the flavor of choice by many hungry followers, including me!Now onto the recipe…Wingstop’s actual recipe is somewhat secret but I managed to interview a dedicated fan and follower of this tasty finger food and he managed to spill the beans on a very similar recipe to the “secret” one used by Wingstop chefs:Take 2 lbs. chicken wings 1/2 c. lemon juice 1 whole garlic clove (4 slices chopped) 1 tbsp. pepper 2 tbsp. salt 1/4 c. vegetable oil. Place wings in bowl; pour on lemon juice, garlic and pepper. Sprinkle salt and pout oil; stir. Marinate for 2 hours at room temperature, stirring occasionally.
